This Privacy Policy explains how Villa Iva processes your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Data controller

2. What we collect

We collect data you provide: via the contact form (name, e-mail, message) and when booking (full name, e-mail, phone, country, stay dates, number of guests and any notes). Technically, we record your IP address to prevent abuse and use essential cookies required for the site to work.

3. Purposes and legal basis

We process data to: (1) answer enquiries and handle reservations — performance of a contract or steps at your request; (2) comply with legal obligations (e.g. guest registration, accounting); (3) protect the site from abuse — our legitimate interest.

4. Guest registration

As required by law, we must register guest data with the competent authority via the eVisitor system for the tourist tax and tourist records.

5. Recipients

We do not sell data. We may share it with service providers (hosting, e-mail, the eVisitor system, booking platforms if you booked through them) only as needed to provide the service.

6. Retention

We keep data only as long as necessary for the stated purposes and statutory periods (e.g. accounting records). Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted after a reasonable period.

7. Your rights
